I love that Germany and the UK often have differing public holidays. I get a lot done when Germany is off. Since they have off today and most are taking tomorrow as a bridge day, they will come into a pile of emails from me on Monday while we have the UK public holiday. Then they'll be sure to return the favor and send me a pile. :-)
Thankfully, the weather has been picking up this week, so we'll see how it holds for the weekend (fingers crossed!) and then Monday. :-)

It absolutely poured yesterday and today is also looking grim- the UK weather is anecdotally better.
G: supposedly it will pour on Monday, so we'll get the equivalent. :-(
