Yellow = plastic
Brown = brown glass
Green = green glass
Blue = normal trash
(There were other blue bins located elsewhere along the beach too.)
In the residential and hotel area there were more bins for paper, plastic, glass and trash along the streets at various intervals. Here new friend Ian is trying to follow the picture diagram which identifies what can be put into the Yellow bin.
Recycling in Portugal almost resembles the German standards, which was a little surprising to me.

That is excellent. I guess it is catching on all over the place then. But, I still think that DE takes the cake for recycling. Another reason for me to love that country.
