It rained all day. I slept a lot, because of the DayQuil. I watched birds landing on my balcony, jumping amid the plants. (Which finally puts to rest my outstanding questions of how slugs and worms made it into my tomato plants.) I stopped sniffling after it got dark.

This is the first actual 100% full sick day I've taken in 5+ years in EU, and in 10+ years at least. Where I come from, you don't get sick days. It took a few years for the German way of life to wear off on me. ;-)
Apparently I've been stuck at lesson 4, or in a slightly different version here for a long time on this point.
