look closely

much time was spent on the balkon garden this weekend, and it has now officially shifted from setup mode to maintenance mode. in this photo, if you look closely you will see a spider. a bit of his web is visble at the top left leaf point. if you look slightly below the top of the left leaf and shift your gaze to the right, you'll see a brown blip that seems to be in the tree. that's my stellar photo taking, that's the spider.

i saw no reason to keep trying to take his photo, because this was actually the third go. in addition, this is his third choice of a web location, so i don't want to force him to move yet again due to me bothering him. his first choice was connected on top of my tomato plant that i like to spin, move and clip agressively. he then tried going between the two balkon chairs. finally he settled here, out of the main stream of activity. i'm hoping this location suits him, although i imagine the leaves may shift a bit, forcing him to re-do some activity (it's a cucumber plant, so it should grow and shift reasonably quickly).
